Hello my lovelies,
I found this very attractive infographic on coconut oil so I had to present it to you on my blog. I enjoy using coconut oil. I use it in 3 ways:
1. For my hair and as a hair moisturizer.
2. For my lips to moisturize.
3. For cooking.
How do you use coconut oil?
Cool post!! Ms. Deterville, coconut oil was also considered good for heart health. Are the effects best when the oil is consumed directly or are the effects equally effective when consumed indirectly, for example through adding the oil to rice or some other type of food?
ReplyDeleteHello Naydyne! Thank you for taking the time out to read and comment. I'm glad to asked this question, because I had the same thought as well. From my research it seems that the increase consumption of coconut oil in the diet is highly beneficial for our health. Therefore, cooking with the oil or adding it to your food without cooking has shown to be both beneficial. For example, you can sautee veggies with the oil or you can add the oil to a salad for example. Coconut oil has shown to be a better oil to use when cooking with because it maintains its structure and composition in the presence of high heat as opposed to other oils like olive oil. I hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThank you dear miss.
ReplyDeleteHow is coking with coconut oil? Does it leave a taste? Is it thin or thick? May actually switch to cooking with coconut oil instead of vegetable oil/
ReplyDeleteI don't think that there is a taste that would lead to one not enjoying their food. The research on coconut oil has shown that it is a much better oil to cook with in the presence of high heat. Nothing beats a try! :o)
DeleteNice infographics! Really informative and it gives a lot of health tips for individuals. Also a good way to inform people about the coconut oil benefits.
